What we collect, and what we do not.

Who is responsible

SkyAide, Inc. is the controller for the personal data described here. For anything in this notice, including access, correction and deletion requests, write to hello@skyaide.ai and a founder will answer.

What we collect when you use the form

The demo request form asks for your name, your work email address and your organisation. Those three are required because we cannot reply without them. Your role, fleet size, primary interest and message are optional, and the form works without them.

We also record that you ticked the consent box, and when, because that record is our evidence that you agreed.

What we record automatically

Three things, recorded with each submission, which the form does not ask you for:

• A one-way hash of your IP address. We salt it with a secret and store only the result, so it cannot be turned back into your address. Its single purpose is to stop the same source submitting the form more than five times in an hour. We do not store your IP address itself.
• The two-letter country code that Cloudflare derives from your connection. We use it to understand where enquiries come from.
• Your browser's user agent string, truncated. We use it to diagnose a submission that fails.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to keep a record of it, and to continue the conversation if you want one. That is the only purpose.

Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@skyaide.ai, and we will delete your details.

We do not add you to a marketing list without asking you separately first. We do not sell your details, we do not share them with advertising platforms, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

Who processes it for us

Four providers process this data under contract to us. No one else receives it.

• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and stores submissions in a Cloudflare D1 database located in the Asia Pacific region. Cloudflare also provides Turnstile, the bot check on the form, which inspects your connection and browser to confirm you are not automated.
• Amazon Web Services, Inc. sends us the notification email for each submission, through Amazon SES in the US East region. That email contains what you submitted.
• Google LLC hosts the hello@skyaide.ai mailbox that receives it, through Google Workspace.
• GitHub, Inc. hosts the source code for this website. It holds no submissions and no personal data from the form.

How long we keep it

We delete demo requests 24 months after they are submitted. The deletion is performed by the platform itself, so it does not depend on anyone remembering to do it.

If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will, and we will confirm when it is done.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session tracking and no fingerprinting.

The only third-party code that loads is Cloudflare Turnstile, on the demo page, for the bot check described above. Every other asset, including the fonts, is served from skyaide.ai.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@skyaide.ai and a founder will action it. We do not require a specific form of words.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Exercising any of these rights costs you nothing and we will not treat you differently for it.

Security

Submissions travel over TLS and are stored in a database reachable only through our own application credentials. Access to the mailbox that receives notifications is limited to the founders. The credential that sends notification email can do exactly one thing, send email from one address, and nothing else.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. The change history is public in the website's source repository, so you can see exactly what changed and when.
